Did I tell you about the sculpture of the pole dancer woman?
It's about done and I will most definitely photograph and post a couple here...she deserves to be viewed in 360 degrees... WHOOO I am happy with it, and should be getting a call in the next day or two to deliver it and pick up my balance due... Haven't mounted her on a pole yet...and need to get a little block of wood for a base...fun stuff...but more work too.
Got an official court paper today filed by Gary's attorney... a "Certificate of Readiness". Apparently...he is armed and ready for court...except that....we STILL haven't agreed on a business appraiser... DUH. I just feel so powerless...watching all our money get dwindled away on credit card interest...lawyers....counselors....... SIGH....good thing it's ONLY MONEY.
If only they'd listen to me, I'd have all our financial problems solved in about a week ;-) Funny.....but TRUE!!!!! Brandy, I KNOW you know what I mean.
Took Leesie to her skating lesson this morning. My fourteen year old is not only a gorgeous, perfect body, voluptuous, dark skinned, intelligent, charming scholar...but, she also has been learning to figure skate for about three years (minus about six months of divorce hell)...and she has landed her axel and is learning her double jumps now. As a mom, this is the most incredible sport to watch young girls learn...from the age of about 3 or 4, these girls get REALLY involved and wow, it's really amazing. My cutie isn't the most dedicated worker...but she does work hard enough to really do some beautiful skating and has won a couple first places in competition. She is going to resume competing in July this year, and is skating more these days, which means I get to see her more. We get to design a costume together (have a good friend, mom to another skater family, who sews costumes for skaters), and she puts together a program using music, with her coach and her choreographing together. She is doing a 'freestyle' (meaning, music with no words), her music is the theme to the second Harry Potter movie. It's fun to see the program coming together and her smile when she gets those jumps and spins mastered. I am going to get some pictures of her at the rink soon and will share here...
