No one should go around artless

This is a great idea... You are so right Mish. This is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time and "I want one"!!!!!

What is an Art-O-Mat? Back in 1997, artist Clark Whittington had an epiphany moment as he witnessed a friend buy a snack whenever he heard someone else open a snack purchased from a vending machine. Whittington thought that the action of putting in money, pulling a lever or pushing a button, and receiving something was an experience that people responded to on an almost visceral level. As part of a solo art show of his photography he was scheduled to have in a café in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Whittington refurbished an old cigarette vending machine. For $1, patrons could pull the lever and receive one of 12 cigarette-pack-sized photographs by Whittington. After the show, owners of the café asked to keep the machine.

More artists signed on to produce small works for the Art-O-Mat to dispense. Eight years later, 71 cigarette machines have been refurbished, each in a way unique to their installation site, so no two Art-O-Mats are the same. The group, now called Artists In Cellophane, boasts over 400 artists from around the world who produce art for the machines. Whittington’s motto is “Don’t go ‘round artless.”
