I told Dona I ended that one about husbands way too negatively

I guess I should kept writing and finished it out. I do love my husband would have to to put up with him for 22 years, yes it will be officially 22 years on May 1st. But yes he still is an asshole. However, he is also the most honorable man I have ever met. One who would gladly stand in front of a bullet to save my life though the barbarian in him would more than likely kill who was ever shooting before it ever got that far. He does dishes, laundry, writes me love poems and for the most part doesn't tell me how to live my life. A nice story now that I have told the mean one is when we loved in Phoenix and were both working on Central. If I needed gas in my car I would call him before I left work and he would meet me there and follow me to the gas station. I would sit in my beautiful white limited edition Trans Am while he pulled up behind me on the motorcycle and got out and pumped my Gas so I didn't have to. Other redeeming qualities are that he always saves the last bite of Dessert or the best food for me. He is always there, probably because he doesn't have the money to escape:0) and the fact that he lives in so much pain and yet he still gets up every morning and does what he has to for us to flourish. I could never find another like him which is why I tell him I would never bother trying once he was gone. LIke Darrel and Dona we are complete and utter opposites in sooo many ways.
