You don't need to leave home to sign up for the bone marrow registry, they send a buccal swab kit to your home. A donation would be greatly appreciated but it is free.

This is something I have wanted to do for years but all the places to do so were many hours away. I got very excited and went to the site. But....

However, if you have a condition such as Hashimoto's or Graves' disease, you may be allowed to register as long as the disease has been successfully treated and you are medically stable."

Since I have both Fibro and CFIDS, all I can say is,
CRAP!!!!

I'm sorry, I was thinking of you when I posted it. I got my kit today and am amazed at how simple they have made the process. Being a do gooder is overrated anyway.
