I'll tell more about what's up soon

An old man was sitting on a bench at the mall.
>
> A young man walked up to the bench & sat down. He had spiked hair in
> all different colors: green, red, orange, blue,& yellow.
>
> The old man just stared.
>
> Every time the young man looked, the old man was staring.
>
>
> The young man finally said sarcastically,
> "What's the matter old timer, never done anything wild in your life?"
>
>
> Without batting an eye, the old man replied,
> "Got drunk once & had sex with a peacock. I was just wondering if you
> were my son."

I have heard the slinky one but it still makes me laugh. The brave boobies are a hoot(er)...Workshop here this weekend, the artist couple are a delight and will stay here at the house for three nights :-)

Slinkies

Some people are like Slinkies: Not good for anything, but you
still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

Texas Strikes again in the Stupid Zone

Texas Says Gays Can't Be Foster Parents

Do they ever stop to think that most of the parents of Gay people were, dare we say it, heterosexual. May we should ban the heteros too and just leave the children for the wolves to raisee

A Gallery of Archetypes

A Gallery of Archetypes: "A Gallery of Archetypes

From: http://www.myss.com/ThreeArchs.asp

The archetypes listed here in boldface type are just a few of the many ancient patterns that exist in human consciousness. Many additional archetypes that are closely related are mentioned in parentheses, such as Hermit (found under Mystic), Therapist (under Healer), or Pirate (under Rebel). Please read through the entire list, looking at all the archetypes in parentheses, before assuming that the one you're looking for isn't here. Naturally, it's impossible to list all the hundreds of archetypes that exist, but these are some of the most common, and include just about all that are mentioned in my book, CD, or tape of Sacred Contracts. If you feel that you have an archetype that isn't found here, please do not hesitate to give it careful consideration, and feel free to include it in your support team.

Remember that all archetypes are essentially neutral and manifest in both light and shadow attributes. Accordingly, I have tried to include both sets of attributes for each listing, along with cues to help you determine whether a given archetype may be part of your lifelong support team of twelve. To help you further, I've listed some examples of each archetype as embodied in popular film, fiction, drama, and the world's religions and mythologies. In evaluating whether an archetype is part of your intimate group, pay special attention to whether you can perceive a pattern of influence throughout your history, rather than only isolated or recent incidents. Never evaluate your connection to an archetype only by obvious markers. You have to stretch your imagination and burrow into yourself to discover your life patterns, lessons, and gifts. This inner knowledge does not surface easily."

Survivor... Kansas Style"

Due to the popularity of the Survivor shows, KSN Networks is
planning to do it's own show entitled: "Survivor.... Kansas Style".

The contestants will start in Wichita, travel west to Pratt,
Garden City and up to Colby. From there they will head over to Hays,
down to Great Bend, up through Salina and then on to Concordia. They
will then proceed to Marysville down to Topeka, then south to Fort
Scott and Pittsburgh west through Independence, Arkansas City, Winfield,
Wellington and back up to Wichita.

Each will be driving a pink Volvo with a New Jersey license plate
and large bumper stickers that read "I'm a Vegetarian", "NASCAR
Sucks", "Go Duke", Copenhagen is for Idiots", "Hillary in 2008", "Deer
Hunting is Murder", "Say No to Budweiser", and "I'm here to Confiscate
Your Guns".

The first one who makes it back to Wichita alive wins.

paperwork pickup

Picking up paperwork to file chapter seven today. Anything exciting I should expect? I may go and file with the court also...definitely this week... Trudging along...(LOVE the Granny story)

Go GO Grandma

iWon News: "A 66-year-old British grandmother with a taste for marijuana casserole was spared jail Friday despite admitting she had shared cannabis-laced cookies with fellow pensioners.

Patricia Tabram from East Lea in the northern tip of England, who said she uses cannabis to alleviate pains in her neck and back, pleaded guilty to possession of the drug with intent to supply.

But Judge David Hodson said he would not make a 'martyr' of her when she returned to Newcastle Crown Court for sentencing. Instead, she received a six-month suspended prison sentence.

The white-haired, bespectacled granny was unrepentant, and said she would keep cooking with pot."

Get all upset but read the story to the end.

I can't believe people get all worked up over this, If this story is true then we are losing a good program. People in this country need to think more and react less.

Fear is the mindkiller. (Dune)
EPA Scraps Controversial Pesticide Testing Program

Reading news articles anymore is almost amusing. They attempt to be inflamatory and are nothing but hot air and we are gullible enough to let it affect our lives without even finding out the truth

I just don't understand

iWon News: "Tony Troiano grimaced as he was lifted off the floor by giant fishhooks pierced through the skin on his shoulders.

Within minutes, he started to spin, swing his feet and declare the painful experience 'the greatest thing' ever.

'I was on Cloud Nine,' the Wethersfield, Connecticut teenager said as he joined fellow body suspension practitioners at an annual convention over the weekend. 'It was euphoric. It was spiritual. I'd do it again today if I wasn't so sore.'

From tentative first-timers to the well practiced, more than a hundred aficionados celebrated their passion for body suspension at the three-day gathering, held in an old textile mill in Providence, Rhode Island.

To hang cost $100; just to watch cost $15 at what many say is the best such gathering for the hundreds, if not thousands, of people they estimate practice suspension across America."

Why Dogs Do Not Live As Long As People

Why Dogs Do Not Live As Long As People

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife, Lisa, and their little boy, Shane, were all very attached to Belker and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family there were no miracles left for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for the four-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt Shane could learn something from the experience.

The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion.

We sat together for a while after Belker's death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, "I know why." Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation.

He said, "Everybody is born so that they can learn how to live a good life -- like loving everybody and being nice, right?" The four-year-old continued, "Well, animals already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long."
