Tango Tea Room Events

Tuesday November 1st, 7:00pm:
Movie NIght!!

The Spiritual Cinema Circle, co-sponsored by 'SatSang' and the'Corpus Christi Noetic Society' present:

"Into Me See" is a film about the transformative power of intimate relationships and what happens when we realize that even the most difficult experiences are essential parts of our growth and evolution. Written and directed by James Twyman, the film follows a couple that have not seen each other for six years as they explore their past lessons and present realizations. Simple in its approach and delivery, this is a movie you'll never forget since the lessons and teachings are universal. If you've ever had your heart broken, or looked back and realized that your greatest lessons came from the greatest mistakes, then this is a movie that you will relate to.

Looking for a cheap yet scenic vacation site

iWon News: "There's no room service, no swimming pool, no microwave oven, no coffee machine, no television, no electricity.

But the accommodations do include mattresses and wood stoves.

An 89-year-old retired construction worker this month began advertising cave stays in east-central Idaho for $5 per night, or $25 a month."

Me No Shy! Me No Have Any Pride or Dignity!

Hi Mish! At least you've learned something and knowledge (of any kind) is never a bad thing.
Don't know about everyone else, but I'm just basically two things - lazy and boring. B will tell you anyone who meets me knows my whole life story within 10 minutes, as I have no stop sign between my brain and my mouth, so I certainly don't care who knows what about me. Most of the time I just feel like I have absolutely nothing of value to say. Yeah - I know Brandy says that's not the reason for the blog, but still - I find it hard to put everyone through the mundaneness (is that a word?) of my days. I don't mind them myself, I love my boring life, but I can't imagine any of it being of any interest to anyone else.
Here on the farm we are just anxiously awaiting the birth of calves. My beloved Daryn (she's two years old and I raised her from 2 days old, bottle feeding her and she has NO idea she's a cow) had her first baby 2-1/2 weeks ago. The baby was a preemie, about 3 weeks early and we had to give her lots of TLC but she looks like she's going to make it now. Two of the others are due any second now, so I spend most of my time walking around the farm checking on them multiple times a day. I'm beginning to get annoyed, but also as B will tell you, I have NO patience about anything. I want what I want and I want it NOW!!!
Well - that's my boring blog of the day. Maybe I'll make that my new goal, so then I won't feel the bar is so high - a boring blog a day!

It's the old "Don't tolerate intolerance" trick...

Okay, so nobody blogs about life much anymore, what is up with that? Maybe part of the hesitance is just knowing that ANYONE can read the blather...I guess....

I have been shopping mortgage loans...recently divorced, recently bankrupted and surprise, surprise, the sharks are already circling...my credit rating has risen since the b'ruptcy discharge and it looks like I can actually GET a loan...amazing thought to me. Although, this place is worth a lot and they really aren't risking much. It will have to be a crappy loan, and I'll refinance again in a couple of years (or sell).

So, looking like my payment won't be lowering much, ultimately, but I will be able to get a little bit of cash out and pay some bills off (divorce) and get a decent vehicle that might run for more than a couple weeks without breaking down. That would be nice. I'm thinking a small Toyota truck, extended cab, something I can haul hay and clay in.

I hate dealing with this stuff....but I am learning a lot about mortgages and credit...

Sounds like too much work to me

Dare to Bare - New York Times: "LIKE any American parent, I spent more than two years changing diapers. At the time, I thought it was a necessary evil; after all, you can't have babies or toddlers going whenever and wherever they want.

But, it turns out, there is a group of parents - supported by a pediatrician, some child-rearing experts and, of course, a Web site - who disagree. The diaper-free-by-three movement - and the three here is three weeks, not three years - claims that babies need never wear diapers again."

These people scare me

NPN Email Alert: "Christians and other lovers of truth and freedom were appalled last October when 11 Christians in Philadelphia were arrested, incarcerated, and threatened with 47 years in prison for the “hate crime” of preaching to homosexuals. They remain appalled at how Canada’s “thought police” bureaucracy continues to harass and indict Christians and the politically incorrect.

Yet imagine such legal confusion being established internationally. Envision “global governance” having powers to override national sovereignty and force governments to implement international hate crime laws.

Well, it is happening right now. B’nai B’rith International, the superpowerful Jewish religious, educational, fraternal, and charitable organization, has persuaded 55 nations (in which it has 2100 lodges and a half million Jewish members) to unite under the authority of a central European hate crimes command center. It is called OSCE, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe."

Words that will disappear

I wish I had a boyfriend or maybe even a girlfriend. Just someone to converse with and have fun with. Someone that would atleast pretend to be interested in me even if it were just for a fleeting moment and they had some ulterior motive. I'm really not that picky. They would only have to be witty, and smell nice. Laugh at my stupid jokes, be less repressed than me. Bla Bla Bla, never kissed a cousin wanted to but did not. Care way too much what other people think. Live with unruly children because I refuse to beat them. Married to a caveman that does every thing but drag me around by my hair. May run away some day never to be heard from again. Why haven't those damn aliens abducted me yet, I'm waiting. I did get carded when I ordered my drink last night, I was way too happy about that. Tried to get Kelly to go to the park at 8 pm but that was just way to freaky for him. Flirted with the busboy that was cleaning up the drink that I spilled to get a reaction out of Kelly. He was apathetic, he noticed but could care less.

"Danger" will Robinson "Danger"

Please note that Blog may experience difficulties over the next few days site is currently in transit to a new Hosting service and a domain transfer or two as well. I will try and find time to upload the sites tomorrow so that the event will be seemless. But you know me and that as we all know is not likely to happen.

See you on the flip side

PS: ANything written after this letter until I tell you I am done will not be saved so you have an excuse to not to write or you can write things that you want to dissappear into the ether. Guaranteed never to be seen again. This might be fun. Lets see there was that time I kissed my cousin. Didn't know who he was at the time and I was 12 but there was this other cousin named Matt, Always liked Matts,That I kissed on purpose was still 12 never saw either of them again. The joys of visiting relatives on Summer vacation.

Santa compensated for dead reindeer

iWon News: "Santa Claus will receive $5,000 in compensation from the Danish air force after an F-16 fighter jet frightened one of his reindeers to death.

Professional Danish Santa Olavi Niikanoff complained to the air force after a reindeer died with fright when a jet roared over the field where his animals were grazing, air force spokesman Captain Morten Jensen told Reuters.

'We acknowledge it was our fault and we have to pay compensation,' Jensen said, adding that the air force regularly paid out sums of money to compensate for animals that die of fright when planes boom overhead."
